May is here, and I can’t believe it. On one hand, I’m super excited, because the semester is almost over. On the other hand, finals, presentations, and project due dates are approaching, and times like these make me wish I was a senior already! School aside, I am so grateful for the amazing opportunities I had in the month of April. I haven’t mentioned it here before, but I’ve had the amazing opportunity of interning with OH! Fox Creative, a home decor and lounge wear design company, this last month. It’s been a blast being a part of the behind-the-scenes work and using this internship as a creative outlet, something I look forward to every week. Since I’ll only be in Austin for a few more weeks before moving back to Houston for the summer, I will definitely miss my time during my internship and being in this creative city. As for now, here are some things I loved this month:
{early morning coffee date at Jo’s with the famous “ILYSM” wall} |
{meeting other local bloggers like sweet Janna from www.jannadoan.com at the #atxbloggermixer} |
{enjoying the view on top of Mt. Bonnell in my favorite Jack Rogers sandals + Essie Lilacism polish} |
{taking photos of beautiful boss lady Candice of OH! Fox Creative. If you’re in the Austin area, she’s selling these gorgeous robes at Hotel San Jose this Saturday!} |

Hi, y'all! Thank you for the comment! These sandals are definitely one of my favorites. XO, Sarah
Love the pic of you and Janna, you both are gorgeous and I'm so glad I met you ladies at the mixer! Also those robes, swooooon. I hope I can make it to Hotel San Jose to buy one — but I'm glad to see they're sold in a few shops around Austin if I don't. I had to pin it to my secret 'shopping' board so I don't forget about them. I need something to replace my 4 year old satin "Bride" robe that I've been wearing since my wedding lol!
Tristan, thank you for your sweet comment! I am so glad I met you at the mixer as well. Totally love that the blogging community in Austin is so open to meeting new people! And oh my goodness, yes. This robe is so gorgeous in person. I definitely have to follow you on Pinterest, too! The details for the pop up shop can be found here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BE8lj-UmW5M/?taken-by=ohfoxcreative See you soon, Tristan! XO, Sarah
so, cute…love your jacks too!

Janna, thank you so much for taking the time to write such thoughtful comments on my posts. I really appreciate them, and I look forward to commenting back! Working with Candice and OH! Fox has been such a blessing, because she really defines what a #girlboss should be! Thank you for your awesome encouragement about school. And you must be out of your mind! I think you looked great!!! Also, you need to get to Mt. Bonnell ASAP. Seriously, it's the one spot I always take visitors, and it seems to wow every single person I take. There's free parking, it's a short climb up, and the views are unbeatable! Win! XO, Sarah
