Flouncy Floral Dress at Grizzelda’s

The end of the school year is here, and for many, that means lots of festivities, including graduation parties, weddings, and end-of-the-year get-togethers. There are few dresses that make me really feel like “me”, but boy, this one sure does it! Flouncy and feminine, this $45 floral printed dress is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a go-to dress for all the upcoming celebrations this season.

It gets so hot here in Austin, so one thing that I always prioritize in any dress is comfort. I’ve always loved the fit and flare style, and this dress is no exception. The netting underneath makes for a super airy fit, because the fabric doesn’t cling to my body. Plus, it’s just so fun wearing a completely twirl-worthy dress! With its shorter length, I love pairing this dress with shoes that continue to extend my legs like these black strap sandals or even these lace-up nude heels. And fun sunnies? Always.

My Austin friends, have you been to Grizzelda’s? They serve up some amazing modern Mexican fare in their colorful space. Their guacamole and chips are the best I’ve ever had, and I love their deconstructed, DIY tacos (with homemade flour and corn tortillas!) Plus, the whole restaurant is entirely Insta-worthy. I recommend getting a reservation and heading in earlier for happy hour.

Now for some personal updates!

Y’all, I missed you guys here! I have so much to update you about. First, notice anything different? I chopped about 10 inches off my hair. *gasp* I absolutely loved my long hair, but I was really wanting something new and different. My new ‘do courtesy of Elizabeth at Elizabeth + Jane Studio is the shortest it’s ever been. My shorter hair has been a super refreshing change and an exciting venture finding new ways to style it. I’m still working on a hair routine, but if you’re interested, I’ll share about it in the future.

And one more thing: I am so excited to share that I’ve accepted an internship position with a company that I am so excited about. Accepting this offer was the biggest leap of faith I’ve ever taken, and I can’t wait to share more about this soon. If you’ve followed along with me for while, you know that I spent last summer in Austin. I’m so excited to say I’ll be calling Austin, TX “home” for one last summer before graduating next spring.

Wow. Just so much! First, I have to get through finals, but after those are over, I am so ready and excited to put in more times towards TBI and share more about all the fun things going on this summer with you. As always, thank you for making me a part of your day. Please do leave me a comment or question below if you have anything you’d like to share, and have a lovely day!

That's such a fun dress! And the pink wall and your new hair make it look even cuter. Congrats on the new internship!
