Honestly, I have no idea if I have a green thumb or not, because I’ve never attempted growing any type of plant. My mom loves her flowers. She has a pot in every room of the house and she loves looking at them every day. (Specifically orchids, because they’re low-maintenace and last quite a while.) She evens attempts growing basil, lemongrass, and other types of herbs. She succeeds at it, surprisingly! And actually, it’s quite good for me, because I absolutely love basil. I don’t know if green thumbs run in the family, but I’m not gonna take any chances. I love flowers as well, maybe not as much as she does, but I do think they brighten up any space and adds some freshness and color to a room. So, instead of having to take care of fresh flowers, I decided to make my own out of tissue paper. They look nice on my desk, and I don’t have to go through the trouble of watering them, giving them the sunlight they need, and singing to them like a fool to still have the same effect.
