I’m sure that everyone’s favorite restaurants aren’t always the healthiest. I definitely know that mine isn’t. It’s always so daunting to me when I can’t find something that tastes REALLY good, and is also good for me. Like, if it doesn’t taste good, I’m definitely not going to eat it, especially with desserts. Desserts have to be good no matter what, and it’s hard finding a good one without it being rich and delectable, baptized in butter and sugar, or otherwise known as: unhealthy. That’s why I love self-serve frozen yogurt places such as Yogurtland, because I can control the portion size, and I see what goes in it. If you know me, you know I love this place. The frozen yogurt is fat-free and has all the benefits of yogurt. At Yogurtland, their flavors are true to their names, and most all the times I go, the consistency of the frozen yogurt is really nice and thick, like ice cream, and never disgustingly runny. A little peek on my usual:

Now, this is when I’m feeling “healthy”, which is usually most of the time. Sometimes I’ll add little candy toppings or a sprinkle of some granola (which happens to be unhealthier than we all think). But, I do like the fact that I can add whatever I feel like that day and feel good that I get my sugar fix while staying healthy.
Other flavors I like from Yogurtland:
– Honeycomb Tart (Tangy and the sweet taste of pure honey.)
– Madagascar Vanilla Bean (I love the little flecks of vanilla bean!)
– Kona Coffee Blend (Calling all coffee-lovers.)
– Red Velvet Cake Batter (’nuff said.)
– Devil’s Food Cupcake Batter (The indulgence of rich double chocolate with no fat. Can you believe it? I sure can’t.)
