Love at First Sight

NARS has two popular Multiples dedicated to highlighting, but I found Luxor to be so pretty. When I tried it on, the irridescent pink imparted the prettiest sheen and gave this three dimensional look. The fine shimmer wasn’t overwhelming and it drew light perfectly to the face. (For a perfect review and description about it, click here.)

Ok, I have to be honest. This was more of a “love at first try”. I would never take a second look at NAR’s Exhibit A. I would always swatch it for fun and get this intimidating and bright tomato red color. This blush is just so pigmented! But, I finally had the courage to ask the NARS lady how it would work on skintones like mine. With the smallest amount on the brush and tapping most of it off, she used the lightest hand and dusted it on the apples of my cheek. It really does look like a real, healthy, rosy glow. I really wonder why NARS isn’t most famous for this blush. I think everyone should at least give this blush a try. Exhibit A is now on the top of my wishlist.

As you can probably tell, I’ve been loving the look of natural flushes and light being drawn to the face. This Benefit Feelin’ Cheeky Trio is foolproof. It’s perfect for lovers of Benefit and starters to their products because they’re small for traveling and also for testing out these three things before being fully commited to buying a full-size. Stains are perfect for cheeks during summer and the highlighter is perfect for dewy-looking skin, and this wallet-friendly trio has everything.
