Pops of Color in Seaside, FL

Is it just me or did y’all also feel like spring break ended in the blink of an eye? Seriously, it just seemed like yesterday I was getting all so excited for this trip to Florida, and now here I am back at school again. (I actually have an exam today…eek!)

You might remember from my latest post for under $50 swimwear that I went on a family trip to South Walton, FL for spring break. I was ecstatic to see my family again, especially because I got the chance to celebrate my sister’s 18th birthday with her and have the absolute pleasure of taking her senior photos on the beach.

During the trip, my family decided to take a day trip to Seaside, FL. When you think of Florida, you think of citrus, sunshine, and warm weather, right? Funnily enough, it didn’t break past 65 degrees all week. Not exactly swimming-in-the-ocean weather! (At least not for me…I’m terrible with cold weather.) This was one of my favorite outfits that I wore the entire week as it was fun to wear, beach-appropriate, and kept me warm from the chilly ocean breeze. To be completely honest, I felt like a sassy beach grandma, and I was entirely okay with that! Pictured below is me standing next to the most perfect giant ice cream cone:

As a first time visitor to Seaside, I had high expectations of what the beach would look like and what the beach community would be like. Let’s just say I have mixed feelings about the place…more on that next week. Stay tuned for a recap of the entire trip. I’ll be sharing some personal photos, some thoughts on each beach town we went to, and some recommendations if you ever make the trip down! Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a blessed week, my friends!
