Recently on my trip to California, a few friends and I stopped by a nail shop that sold polishes some less than half the price of what I’d usually find at an ULTA or other nail supply store. I found China Glaze polishes to be $2.50. WHAT?! Naturally, I would be going crazy in the store like some of the people I went shopping with, but I resisted the urge to buy everything and settled for two polishes (previous post), one shown below:
This polish is called “Sugar High” from China Glaze that came out in their Up & Away Collection last year. Though it is very bright and could remind you of a hot pink, Sugar High is a medium pink with a slight kick of coral in it. I love the name of this polish because it really does remind me of a “sugar high”. China Glaze can be inconsistent with their applications, but I found this one to be free of streakiness and opaque in one to two coats.
I’ve been wearing this one for a couple days without a topcoat and it’s lasted three days without chipping. Overall, I really love the vibrant highly-pigmented color, rich and creamy formula, non-streaky application, and glossy creme finish it gave. Definitely worth more than $2.50 and definitely my new favorite pink. What a steal!
