MAC Select Moisturecover Concealer $16.50 |
With dry skin like mine, it’s quite hard to find a concealer that will blend properly without emphasizing dryness or flakes. I was previously using MAC’s Select Cover-Up concealer, which was good for a while, until I found that the ease of blending was starting to annoy me and I didn’t like the sheer coverage. Thank goodness I visited the MAC counter in Nordstrom on my trip, because I think I have found my new love.
What?
Moisturecover is a moisturing, sheer to medium coverage concealer that comes with a doefoot applicator and is super blendable and easy to work with. This concealer is natural-looking and leaves a moisturized satin finish to the skin.
Who?
People with dry skin will definitely find this concealer to be easy to work with.
Where?
I like this concealer for blemishes, hyperpigmentation, and discoloration. Along with all-over spot coverage, it’s also perfect under delicate eye area to lightly camouflage darkness. It leaves a very natural look and can be layered for more coverage with a sponge, a concealer brush, or even fingers.
Why?
This concealer is almost emollient and I love the texture of my skin after it’s applied. It looks natural and skin looks more hydrated after it’s set with a light dusting of powder.
Other Thoughts?
Some people might say Moisturecover is probably a bit overpriced for what it does, but after seeing how it makes my skin look, I don’t mind $16.50. I love the feel when it’s on, because it’s light, breathable, and moisturizing. I will not be looking for another concealer in a long time.
