Some of my favorite dishes are the most simple. And by simple, I mean taste and preparation-wise. The words “summer” and “food” have always gone together for me, and though it’s not consistently warm or sunny yet, I’m already craving for the season to come. This simple mushroom salad (recipe here) and linguine with shrimp scampi (recipe here) incorporated a bit of seafood and fresh, bright and summery ingredients that were perfect pick-me-ups. Definitely keepers.
