Welcome back, friends! Summer is no doubt my favorite time of the year, and while the season is ending soon, I’m eager to share every bit of fun that happened over the last few months. During the summer season, there’s usually the occasional opportunity to travel, and this year, I lucked out with the chance to take a quick trip to Venice, California. The Kinney Venice Beach kindly hosted my stay, and it was an incredibly comfortable and fun place to crash at the end of a jam-packed schedule. With easy access to popular sites like Venice Beach, Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Santa Monica Beach, and Marina del Rey, the colorful rooms, and the fun amenities, it’s safe to say I fell in love with the place pretty quickly. Scroll below to see more about this hotel!

Time for check-in! Upon entering the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to see such unique artwork and decor around the building. I stayed in a Crash Pad Suite, which included a bedroom and separate living room with a couch, breakfast nook, fridge, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Needless to say, it was plenty of room! From the wall art inside the room to the bedding, everything in the room just felt downright fun.

Unsurprisingly, one of my favorite things about The Kinney is the amount of colorful, outdoor wall art. You guys know how much I love colorful walls, and this hotel had me swooning at every wall! With a playful, two-story mural, vibrant splashes of color on the doors, and even more indoor painted walls, there was lots to see with each corner I turned.

Breakfast is provided in the downstairs area of the hotel in an intimate setting, but not just any breakfast, y’all. During my stay, they had a fun breakfast option for acai bowls, so I had a blast customizing the mixings, like peaches, raspberries, and pineapples, and toppings, such as granola, honey, and bananas. It felt like dessert for breakfast, and I was one happy camper in the morning!

Perhaps my favorite part of The Kinney Venice Beach is their unique social courtyard scene called “The Quad”. My room was just steps away from The Quad, which made it the perfect place to lounge, hang by the fire pit, play some ping pong, or have a BYO drink at the end of the night. I especially loved the way it looked at the end of the night with the beautiful string lights and vibrant colors.

Also, I couldn’t get over this retro one-piece swimsuit. It comes in lots of pattern options, and at $27, it’s a total steal. I loved being able to wear this number by the heated pool at The Kinney!

The Kinney Venice Beach also offers on-site beach cruiser rentals. While I didn’t get a chance to enjoy them during my trip, I highly recommend it as Venice Beach has a wonderfully paved way to Santa Monica just for bikers to ride at a relaxed pace and enjoy the view.

Though my time in Venice was short, I loved every second of fun I got to squeeze into my schedule, and I can’t wait to share some of the other fun things I had the chance to do with all of you soon. Thank you all for following along, and I’ll catch you guys next week!
Thank you to The Kinney Venice Beach for hosting my stay! All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
