Your Guide to Online Shopping

I am a huge fan of online shopping. It’s like buying presents for yourself that show up on your doorstep! Though I typically love being able to feel and take a good look at what I’m going to buy before I purchase it, shopping online can be so convenient. You can narrow your searches down, you don’t have to worry about possible bad customer service (or other customers), and overall, it makes shopping more efficient. When it comes to clothing, I think the best things to do are to make sure to read up on reviews and look at sizing charts. Below are my a few of my personal favorites and recommendations:

1. ASOS

With a huge selection of items and great service, UK’s ASOS cannot be beat. I love their wide variety of clothing, but what I appreciate most is how they have a petite section, especially made for people 5′ 3″ and under. (Perfect for tiny people like me!) The ASOS website also makes it very easy to narrow down searches with their price slider tab and color picker. Oh, they also have free shipping and returns!

2. Dailylook

DailyLook is always on top of the latest trends with a wide selection of items. I love how they put different outfit ensembles together and you can shop by “Look Type” – some now including “Boho Dreamer” and “Prim & Proper” – which makes it easy to refine searches by your desired style. Even if you’re not specifically searching for anything, Dailylook is a great site to find outfit ideas and instantly feel inspired.

3. Shoes of Prey

If you’ve ever wanted to design your own pair of perfect custom made shoes (with free shipping!), this is the place for you! Though I have yet to have the opportunity of purchasing a pair for myself from Shoes of Prey, designing shoes on their website is so much fun. Watch Shoes of Prey’s video above to learn more.

4.  Shoptiques

Shoptiques is a unique online shopping website where it gathers local boutiques from across the world into one place. I enjoy browsing this website, because I can not only discover great items from boutiques around my area, but also shops and boutiques in many other areas.

5. Rent The Runway

I don’t know about you, but with every formal event I’ve been to, I find this amazing dress that soon gets stuffed into the back of my closet and is destined to never be worn again. Rent The Runway allows you to borrow then return beautiful designer dresses for a fraction of the retail price – perfect for upcoming events such as school formals, prom, dinners, holiday events, or anywhere else you want to dress up!
